Nothing is too hard for your God, so nothing is too hard for you! You serve a King, a wonder, a mighty God! And most importantly, a LIVING God! So He sees you, He is aware of your state, He is not made in stone, gold, or granite! Call on Him, leave it in His hands & don’t pick it back up! Just watch how much you are able to do through His power. We are weak, our faults fail us everyday, & we probably talk ourselves out of a lot of things because the risk is just too high for our human qualities, but let me tell you about the God we serve! In Him, we become perfected. In Him, we become invincible. In Him, we become more than conquerors! In…

Let us begin by defining the words power and Prayer. Power is the ability or opportunity to do something or to act where as Prayer is a fellowship and communion rather than a mere request to God or it is talking with God or it is a two way system. In prayer we share and exchange the same thoughts with God. As a result of this communication with God we receive answers to our Prayers. The ability and opportunity of God to answer or respond to our prayer thus the power of prayer in this context.
Scripture: Therefore confess your sin to each other and pray for one another so that you may be healed. THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE. James 5v16.God can answer our prayers through many way for example healing as it is stated in this verse but the criteria is what matters for his response to our prayer. What is the Criteria for God to release his power? Answer: Righteousness.
How Can we do about it?
The abbreviation ACTS is used to help the children of God remembering important steps when praying. ACTS stands for
A: Adoration/Praise
C: Confession(of sins)

ADORATION/PRAISE: When praying we need to show great love and worship him, approving that he is God and that we admire him.Jesus begun his prayer by praising God concerning his fatherly love, mighty name and the glory of his Kingdom. Our father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth
as it is in heaven Mathews5v9.By doing this we shore great respect that he deserves.
CONFESSION; We need to admit that we are guilty before God for committing various sins. I when we commit sin, we wrong against GOD. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3vs 23. Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you form God: for sins have hidden his face form you so that he will not hear. Isaiah59vs1-3. But despite our unfitness for his glory he is able to forgive our sin through mercy and grace. as far as we repent and turn from darkness or evil. If we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS,HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST AND WILL FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS 1Johnvs8-9.

THANKSGIVING: We have to express gratitude to God because we owe him gratitude for what he has done to our lives. The bible instructs us not to be misled by our situations but to be joyful all the times no matter it may be. Be joyful always; pray continuation; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Gos will for you in Christ JESUS. 1 Thessalonians 4v16
SUPPLICATION: We need to be very humble when giving request to God consider that we are not deserving of his glory since our criteria is not fit in his eyes but to be glad for his mercy, love, favor and grace on us hence capitalizing his will always. Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who ask receives, he who seek finds and to him who knocks the door will be opened.Matt7v7. The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quit you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing; The sorrows for the appointed feasts, I will remove from you; they are burden and reproach to you. At that time I will deal with he who oppress you; I will rescue the lame and gather those who have been scattered. I w.ill give them praise and honour in every land where they were put to shame. At that time I will bring you home, I will give you honor and praise among all peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes.
SAYS THE LORD! Zepheniah3v17

Charles Stanley – When Temptation Knocks

Charles Stanley

What makes a person successful at resisting temptation? I believe the best way to discover how to overcome temptation is to look at the One who dealt with every temptation successfully and consistently. The writer of Hebrews wrote of Christ:

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin (Heb. 4:15).

Since Jesus successfully overcame temptation, we would do well to study his strategy for dealing with it. Unfortunately, we have only one clear passage of Scripture describing Christ’s encounter with temptation. We know from the Hebrews passage cited above that He was tempted more often than this, but the Holy Spirit chose not to include these in the Gospels.

Strangely enough, Jesus’ approach is so straightforward and simple that many believers tend to overlook it entirely. Others…

For how long shall we call on the name of the Lord and not doing what he wants us to do?
For how long shall we be called foolish builders?
I choose to act on the word of God and not just be a mere listener. God help me to be a wise builder who build his house on deep rocky foundation that can not be washed away or destroyed by diseases, poverty, affliction, rejection, isolation, idoratory, witch craft, joblessness, limitation in progress and many chains the enemies of my souls use to connect us to themselves. By grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I am covered by his blood and I will make him the foundation of my faith.

psalm 39

For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
1I said, “I will watch my ways

and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth
while in the presence of the wicked.”
2So I remained utterly silent,
not even saying anything good.
But my anguish increased;
3my heart grew hot within me.
While I meditated, the fire burned;
then I spoke with my tongue:
4“Show me, Lord, my life’s end
and the number of my days;
let me know how fleeting my life is.
5You have made my days a mere handbreadth;
the span of my years is as nothing before you.
Everyone is but a breath,
even those who seem secure

Sermon: The Ark of Noah

Sermon: The Ark of Noah.

‘…“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”’
Matthew 17:5

On the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses, the law giver, and Elijah, who represents the prophets, stood side by side with Jesus. But Jesus outshone them all. The Bible says, ‘…His clothes shimmered, glistening white, whiter than any bleach could make them…’ Mark 9:3 TM). In that moment Jesus was God in His purest form. Awed by Him, Peter said, ‘…“Lord…if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”’ (Matthew 17:4 NKJV). It was a sincere sentiment, but it was sincerely wrong. ‘While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!’’’ The word beloved implies ‘unique.’ There is no one else like Jesus! Not Moses. Not Elijah. Not Peter. Not Zoroaster, Buddha, or Muhammad. No one in heaven or on earth. Three shrines would have made Moses and Elijah equal with Christ, and God would have none of it. Only one shrine should be built, because only one person on the mountain deserved to be worshiped. ‘When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid’ (Matthew 17:6 NKJV). The One who hung the stars in space and left Pharaoh dead at the bottom of the Red Sea stood among them. The sight of Him took their breath away, removed every trace of arrogance and caused them to end up face-down on the ground. How long has it been since you felt such reverence for God?

2 Chronicles 32-34, Luke 18:1-17, Psalm 119:145-160 , Proverbs 22:

Some people to breakthrough in their lives they need to meet and challenge the giant as David did. Your giant could not be Goliath but yours might be sickness, poverty, childlessness, rejection, joblessness, marital problems and many more. Challenge the giant with your previous testimony and the word of God though he may seem tough and strong you have power in you mouth and believe in your heart. Tell the Giant that your Lord who rescued you some day in the past is the same today and forever. This clearly shows that if God is with you no one can be against you including the giant that is threatening your life. Today its over your life will not be the same in Jesus name as you stand film in faith and defeat the giant of your life.
